Dr.Vundavalli Sridevi joined the YSR Congress Party in 2018, leaving a fulfilling medical career, and vowed her allegiance to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who shared her aim for serving people and combating discrimination in rural areas. She beat TDP sitting MLA Sravan Kumar after a long campaign, winning the people’s support. She primarily focuses on developing the community and enhancing the educational and medical infrastructure in her district. Dr.Vundavalli Sridevi is an Indian politician currently a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh state. She has been elected for the constituency Tadikonda from the political party YSRCP in 2019.She entered the state politics recently yet established herself as a promising Dalit leader. Sridevi’s father and family encourage her to get involved in politics and serve the nation.
